Saturday Night Fun
When we moved to Gent in 2007, we received a map of all the pubs there and BabyLuv & I decided that we'd go to all of them. Unfortunately the map teared when I tried to move it to another wall and I had to throw it away.
Early November 2009, I got a new similar map but it pointed all the Gentse restaurants! This was just perfect because we adore going to the restaurant. So we decided to try every restaurant in town. What a challenge! We're on the right track already and we still go to our favorite places often but we like to try a different one now and then.

Tonight we went out to the Pool House to play pool. I sucked but learned a lot from BabyLuv. He's really good at pool game. He taught me to concentrate more and to really adjust my cue so the white ball hits the right way. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long because people smoked like a chimney and I couldn't breathe anymore. I was pretty pissed because it's now forbidden to smoke in any establishment. Our clothes smelled so bad I had to put them in the washing machine as soon as we got home! I'm not against people smoking but I'm against them forcing me to "smoke" with them. It's so disrespectful.
July 2011: On March 15, 2011, Belgium's Constitutional Court ruled that the discrimination between bars serving food and those not serving food (and casinos) distorted competition and that, as a consequence, the partial exemption had to end by July 2011, thus banning smoking in Belgium's bars, restaurants and casinos without exemptions. Anyhoe. After our fun games, we wanted to go out for a small dinner but we didn't know where to go. I suggested we could go to this place BabyLuv and his friends go when they go out since it's open 24/7, t'Hoekske. They have delicious sandwiches and I didn't know but they have small hot meals too.
We both ate a 'burger-egg': it was delicious! The burgers were a tiny bit too big for me but the combination was really yummy. I loved that they served raw vegetables and not fries, it makes it healthier. I didn't eat the tomato sauce, I didn't feel like it and neither did BabyLuv.
